Selsey inshore lifeboat “Betty and Thomas Moore” was paged at 14:03 after reports received from members of the public of three children and a mum in difficulties just offshore from Shore Road, East Wittering.
Apparently one child had fallen off of an inflatable toy the other two children went to help the first child followed by mum. Thankfully all made it safely back to the beach before the ILB launched.
The launch was cancelled at 1406 and the ILB rehoused.
