At 1552 Selsey inshore lifeboat “Peter Cornish” was requested to launch to the assistance of two children missing from the beach at West Wittering. The ILB arrived on scene at 1615 and commenced a search.At 1633 the children were found safe and well on the beach and all units attending the incident were released.The ILB returned to station at 1645 and was re-fuelled and ready for service at 1700.
