AWL 47-001 ‘CITY OF LONDON’ was tasked by Solent Coastguard at 0930 hrs to go to the aid of the fishing vessel ‘MV Lady Luck’ that was approximately 3 miles east of the Lifeboat station with a fouled propeller. The ‘CITY OF LONDON’ was on scene at 0957 hrs and passed a tow. She was then towed back to her moorings at Selsey and the ‘CITY OF LONDON’ was rehoused and made ready for service by 1105 hrs.
