ILB D464 ’THE WREN’ launched at 1015 hrs to assist in towing the local fishing boat M.F.V. ‘Harvest Queen’, with two male persons on board, the last few hundred yards on to her moorings. The fishing vessel had been towed in by the Fisheries Protection Vessel ‘Watchful’ after fouling her propeller approximately 4 miles offshore, which completely disabled the vessel. After making sure everything was well with the casualty ‘THE WREN’ returned to station and recovered at 1115 hrs. Ready for service 1130 hrs.
